S06 — Designed to Embrace the Sea
With the launch of the S06, Manda Yachts continues its design philosophy by introducing a yacht conceived to live in harmony with the sea. An original concept in both type and style, the S06 features an open main deck with generous indoor and outdoor living spaces.
At the stern, a full-beam panoramic window connects the dinette to the exterior, creating a seamless flow between the yacht and nature.
Space Beyond Expectations
One of the yacht’s standout features is its expansive open-air areas—spaces typically found only on larger vessels. The design is distinctly contemporary, highlighted by a reverse bow that adds character and performance.
The hull lines have been carefully designed and validated through CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) to ensure excellent seaworthiness and onboard comfort. The deep V-shaped bow allows for smooth wave penetration, while the wide aft sections provide lift and reduce drag, even at low displacement speeds. The result is a dry, stable deck and a hull that conveys strength, safety, and graceful elegance.
From Concept to Reality
The project stems from a conceptual sketch by Giovanni Ceccarelli for the S06, which evolved through the design and engineering phases without ever losing its original essence.
Power and Precision
All Manda Yachts models are powered by Volvo IPS propulsion systems, offering superior maneuverability and efficiency.
The S06 is equipped with:
2 x Volvo IPS D11 950 (standard), delivering a top speed of 28 knots
To enhance onboard comfort, a gyroscopic stabilizer is installed, minimizing roll and improving stability during navigation.
Advanced Construction
The hull is built in fiberglass, with a single-skin bottom, while the sides and deck are constructed using sandwich technology. The superstructure is infused with carbon fiber fabrics to reduce weight and increase structural integrity.
Every stage of construction—from lamination to outfitting—is carried out at the Manda Yachts shipyard in Mondolfo, Italy, where craftsmanship meets innovation.
