MYLIUS MY62
The Mylius 62 monohull was designed and engineered by Ceccarelli Yacht Design studio in collaboration with Parisotto + Formenton studio, regarding the interior design. This boat is built in infusion, the particularity being that the entire area below the waterline is not built in sandwich but in solid to give greater peace of mind to the owner both while sailing and during the grounding phases. Instead, everything else on the boat is built of sandwich with fiberglass, the hull structures are reinforced with carbon fabrics, and the Fly and T-Top are made of carbon to reduce weight at the top. It is a semi-displacement type hull and has CE certification with Category A. Exterior finishes include all decks being teak coated. The first boat will be with white gelcoat finish but if owners request it there is also the option of having the hull fully painted. At the stern we have a hydraulic platform that allows for access to the sea, to wing the tender and put it inside the garage.
Inside the 'deck there is a C-shaped galley located on the starboard side and a living area with sofa and low table, forward of the galley we have the internal wheelhouse and difianco the staircase access to the deck below where there are cabins. In the outdoor area aft there is space for a large dining table, a lounging area with sofas and the staircase to the upper deck where we will have another social and lounging area with loungers, kitchenette, fridge plate and barbecue. The command station on the upper deck will have three armchairs and the whole control station. At the 'extreme bow passing by the two side walkways on deck we have another living area with sofas and cushions.
The interior layout has as a standard solution a master cabin that is placed in the middle of the boat where the full maximum width of the boat is used with bathroom and shower. We then have a VIP guest cabin with two single beds that can be converted into a double on the starboard side also with private bath and shower and another guest cabin with two single beds stacked on top of each other. The actual sailor cabin is located at the far bow and will have access both from the deck and possibly from the guest cabin shower so it will have a door that can connect the interior double cabin with the sailor cabin.
In terms of systems this boat is equipped with two Volvo IPS D11 series engines as standard DPS 950 developing 725 horsepower each, this allows it to have a maximum speed of 28 knots and a cruising speed around 18 knots. On board in terms of facilities we have generators, lithium batteries, air conditioning, watermaker, galley equipped with fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washer dryer in the crew area.
