MYLIUS MC66

The Mylius 66 catamaran is a project of Ceccarelli Yacht Design who have taken care of the concept , exteriors , naval architecture , engineering with interiors designed and developed by the Parisotto + Formenton architectural firm.
The boat is equipped with two Volvo IPS700 engines as standard that have a power output of 550 horsepower each. These engines allow to develop a top speed around 20/21 knots and have a cruising speed around 14/15 knots. The construction of the deck hulls and superstructures is done in fiberglass sandiwich infusion using Vinylester resins, the hull structures are reinforced with carbon fabrics.

The Fly Bridge and T-Top are constructed entirely of carbon with epoxy resin to try to reduce weight as much as possible, the boat has a Category A C certification so with a person capacity of 10 to 14. All decks both the main deck and the Fly deck are covered in natural teak. The aft platform is hydraulic and has such handling that it allows access to the sea and can also be used for hauling and launching the tender. When the platform is high above the water it will have the function of a tender garage.

In the deck plan there is an open galley area located on the port side, on the starboard side we find a living area with sofas and puffs, a wheelhouse area, an interior control station with main functions, engine throttles, an armchair for the captain or driver, and stairs for access to the side hulls.

In the open-air area towards the stern there is a space for a large outdoor dining table that can still be deployed in two different positions and a lounging area with sofas and sunbathing area. On the upper deck we have a lounging area with sofas and loungers, an outdoor kitchenette with refrigerator and barbecue plates.

The interiors have been designed using natural materials of the highest quality with the possibility of choosing different solutions according to the needs of the clients: we go from a 4 to 6 cabin formula all with private bathrooms and showers with the possibility of having in one layout also the kitchen instead of having it in the main salon. The facilities on board offer absolute comfort in fact on board we find: generator, lithium batteries, air conditioning desalinators, in the kitchen fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washer dryer in the sailors room. In addition there is the possibility on the Fly Bridge to install solar panels for energy production and thus save both the amount and the use of batteries.
