We have worked on the design CYD 4207 for the ORC GP42 rule.

For the next season of races, and the package of design is ready to start to build it in series or custom one off.

That's the moment to plan the next season.
The boat is conform to the final version of ORC GP42 rule 2006.

To arrive to the final concept we did an extensively research with CFD and VPP in house analyses to optimize hull shape and appendages design.

Some time for structures we used the FEM (Finite Element Calculation) to optimize the lay out of the structures and the weights.

We produce two possible hull design, one oriented more to Mediterranean condition 6-12 Knots TWS for light to medium winds, and one more for medium range 12-18 Knots TWS.
